Float studio have designed the headquarter for mattress brand Casper’s in Manhattan to be a place for work, fun and relaxation.
The office is two stories and the company decided to use their philosophy of sleeping as an important part of the design. The first floor resemble day and the second floor resemble night.
To get more light in the designers kept the brick work and opened up the ceiling. This to give a morning feeling on the main floor. This also helped to open up the space as it at the same time created atmospheric corners and kept the natural light.
Blue boxes have been installed for different purposes. For example kitchen, meeting rooms and nooks with beds.
For the second floor the designers have used silver and white patterns towards a darker blue to give an impression of night.
